CATERING POLICIES & TERMS

CHINA / GLASSWARE

  • Disposable tableware and glassware are included. Standard china and glassware are available for an additional charge.

 

LINENS

  • We provide skirts and tablecloths for food and beverage tables at no cost. Tablecloths and linen napkins for guest tables are available at an additional fee.

 

MENU GUIDELINES

  • Final menu selections are due two (2) weeks prior to the event.

  • A guaranteed guest count must be provided 14 days before the event.

  • Charges are based on the guaranteed count, regardless of actual attendance.

  • Additional guests beyond the guaranteed count will incur additional charges.

 

FOOD POLICIES

  • Prices are per person (or per dozen for appetizers).

  • Pricing is subject to change until a 50% deposit is received.

  • ALL food and beverages are to be prepared and served by EJ3’s Taste Of Elegance.

  • Buffet remains open for 30 minutes after the last guest is served.

  • All unused food and beverage will be discarded at the caterer’s discretion.

 

SERVICE CHARGE

  • An 18% service charge applies to all events. This covers setup, breakdown, and standard service support.

 

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  • The client is liable for any damages or loss caused by guests or third-party vendors hired by the client.

 

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at signing to reserve the event date.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event, along with final guest count.

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance may be eligible for a partial refund.

 

TRAVEL FEES

  • Events outside our local service area may incur a travel fee.

  • This fee helps cover transportation time and expenses and will be clearly outlined in your quote prior to booking.

 

RUSH BOOKINGS

  • Planning last minute? No problem—when availability allows.

  • Events booked within [X days] of the event date are subject to a rush booking fee to accommodate expedited planning and preparation.

FORCE MAJEURE

  • Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control, including acts of God, government restrictions, or natural disasters.
